I am hands down the pickiest person when it comes to work being done to my house and I have to say Tompkins exceeded my expectations by far. I am so happy with my floor. Rick was so great to work with and was so patient making sure I was happy with everything. The installers, Ceaser and Vickie literally could not have done anything better. Their attention to detail was amazing!!! I am beyond happy with our new floors!

Had an ideal experience at Tompkins!
I kept putting off changing out the carpet in my condo, because it can be such a hassle. And I don't live in OC most of the year, so I know nothing about carpet places around here. I wanted to avoid big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot because of the horror stories with their sub sub sub contractors and customer service. Walked into Tompkins on Saturday and wow! my search was over! Cheri greeted us and was super helpful without being pushy. Their installers were also a family run business and they were outstanding: on time; careful with our furniture; communicated well, and it looks GREAT.
Pricing was fair and transparent. Will definitely come back here for all my flooring needs.

Tompkins Flooring, specifically Cherie did a phenomenal job guiding us through the right type of flooring for our new home in Mission Viejo. She was very friendly, informative, responsive and an expert that we depended upon for our new flooring. Excellent and very pleased!

I've hated the carpet that came with our new house since the day we moved in and have been talking about replacing it forever. I finally reached out to Tompkins Flooring in Irvine, and I'm so glad I did. Cheri came out to take measurements and was awesome. She really took the time to walk me through what types of flooring would make sense for the whole house and what would work best on our stairs.
She gave great advice, wasn't pushy at all, and really seemed to care about helping me make the right choice. It's been such a good experience so far. If you're thinking about new floors, definitely call Tompkins and ask for Cheri!

Hi Tompkins! I've posted this review on Angi's list, Google & Yelp.
I just got Luxury Vinyl Flooring in my little condo here in San Juan, and I couldn't be happier. I walked into Tomkins on a whim (I've been wanting to do my floors for 13 years; just couldn't figure out how), where Gary was so wonderfully "Jersey" (?) and confident. He came out lugging a bunch of sample boards and let me keep them for a few days, and walk all over them. I picked the one I liked first off in the showroom! But it's nice to be sure. Then he did the measuring, got me a great quote, and it was easy. Victor & Alex came to install. They were efficient, tidy and easy to work with. I had a billion questions and kept calling Courtney. I'm afraid I was "THAT customer." But he was kind and patient and wonderful. And when I didn't like the way something looked... they came right out and fixed it. Their dime. Even when it was my change of mind. If you're like me, and have difficulty making up your mind, trusting people to do stuff right, and have loads of questions... Use Tompkins. They treated me and my little 1,000 square foot job like I had a McMansion. I can't recommend them highly enough. I love my floors, and the whole experience of getting them installed was far easier than I had (procrastinated) anticipated!

Thompkins Flooring did an amazing job on my new laminate flooring. I had been looking at samples for months and getting estimates. They were by far the most organized, quick to come out to measure, always got back to me quickly and at a fair price. My sales associate Cheri Andre was the best! She really listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me something more expensive that I did not want. She was a joy to work with as well. I drove farther to the Irvine store because I heard so many great things about her. She really knows all the lines and will tell it like it is.
As for the installers, Ceasar and Vickie did such a great job! They were true perfectionists! They really went above and beyond to make me happy. They asked me little things like which way I wanted the small trim on the edges to go, etc. I really appreciated there attention to details. I wish all my home improvement projects went this easily!

Truly a wonderful experience with Tompkins Flooring. They were super helpful and friendly. They explaining all different type of carpets they offer. The carpet installers came out today and did a fantastic job for our upstairs level.
Jose and the two other installers were very professional and friendly. They worked all day and when I bought lunch for them they didn't eat it till 4 hours later. I felt bad that they didn't even take any breaks until they sat down and ate lunch. These men were working so hard and did an amazing job for us. They clean up and put everything back for us.
I'm super super happy with the carpet installers and their service. Mucho Gracias Senor Jose!!!
I highly highly recommend Tompkins Flooring.
Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their products are great. But most importantly, supporting the small businesses. They need us as much as we need them. Thank you Rick.

They treat you like family!! Hadn't shopped for flooring in years, hired Tompkins' upon recommendations of several friends. Thank goodness!! They were just wonderful, knowledgeable, did a super professional job.

The Best Service. We've used Tompkins Flooring for our entire house, not once, but TWICE. The service is the best, and the quality of the product can't be beat. The entire sales team and installers are all GREAT!

A sales associate at a big-name flooring store recommended Tompkins, and I am so glad we did. Megan was so helpful and professional to work with. The crew that did our floors worked so efficiently and was all so kind. They were very reasonably priced, too! I definitely recommend them!!

Just had Tompkins Flooring install new carpeting in the Master Bedroom and luxury vinyl plank in the Master Bath. The crew did a great job with the installation of both products and furniture removal/replacement. Even our plumber offered compliments on the installation of the LVP, where a new toilet was to be installed. It was a pleasure working with Cherie

Tompkins has a great selection and the customer service is great. Rick helped with the selection listening to the objectives, and gave me great advice. Not only did they do a good job with installation, but we had a water issue two years later and Rick not only came out himself to assess the situation, but helped with the resolution as well.
I highly recommend Tompkins. Good products, fair price, timely, great installation, and great customer service. It was a success and continued to support us even after the job

Great experience at Tompkins! Had a big job recarpeting my home, as well as new flooring in the master bath. The Laguna Hills store was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in making choices within my budget. Installers did a terrific job and finished in less time than expected. Results are beautiful and I couldn't be happier!

I first used Tompkins Flooring 3 years ago to upgrade the flooring in my home. In comparison to what we could have spent elsewhere we got quite a good deal from them. They ultimately did a great job, finished almost exactly on time, and quality of the installation and product is very good. 3 years later, this laminate flooring still looks and functions as great as the day it was installed. We almost always get compliments from visitors about our floor.
